Life is Beautiful

Valentine's day is coming.

Which also means,

My birthday is drawing near.

Hmmmn... another year passed.
Another year added to my age.
Another year, which means I'm getting older.
But it also means another year of opportunity to be wiser.

For the past thirty years, I had my share
of failures and success,
of depressing moments and jubilant celebrations,
of hurts and joys,
of enemies and friends.


So many things happen, that sometimes I find myself in a standstill-- asking:
where will my life lead?
Which path to throd?
Which dream to follow?
Which goal to achieve?


But, no matter what trying moments will come,
I still wake up everyday realizing that life is beautiful.

Life is a box of chocolate, that I only have to be prepared
to be amazed,
to be awed,
and to be surpised
with whatever surprises life may bring.

There's always a reason--
to smile rather than to frown,
to giggle rather than growl,
to roll laughing rather than desperately crying...



Since my birthday is coming, what will my birthday wish be?

Perhaps it is about time to stop wishing and start doing.
Perhaps it is about time to stop dreaming and start acting.

For the past thirty years of my life,
I had wished,
I had dreamed.

I already have so many wishes and plenty of dreams
that it's time to make it real
by acting,
by doing,
by pursuing
those dreams and wishes
and not make those remain only as wishes and dreams.


Life is beautiful that every day deserves a celebration.
Everyday should be a birthday celebration,
with hope,
with trust,
with enthusiam,
with faith,
with courage,
that no matter what,
at the end of the day,
LIFE IS, AND WILL ALWAYS BE BEAUTIFUL!
